"During our annual trip to Reno for a motorcycle event, we always like to join in on the group ride, food and fun at the dealership. At the end of our ride the rear wheel bearing on our motorcycle decided to go out By the time we got our jackets off somebody had called the dealership and told them we had a bike in trouble. Within 30 minutes they had a truck rolling 20 miles out of town to pick up our bike. I thought this was going to be a bad day but turned out to be a great experience with Reno Cycles and Gear They had us back on the road before the end of the day. Can`t go wrong with service like this. Thanks....

"My first experience with Reno Cycles & Gear was in 2002, when I decided I wanted to purchase an American made motorcycle. I am the type that doesn't follow current fad, so a Harley was out of the question. I had researched all of the American made bikes available at the time, including the Indians. But reviews listed for these bikes were not that encouraging, as most had some type of problem listed that they were working on trying to fix for the next production year.
Then I accidentally came across the Polaris website that showed a new production bike called the "Victory". The styling of the bike was just what I was looking for, and the price range was more realistic than the Harley or the Indian. So off I went to the dealership listed for the Reno area, Reno Cycles & Gear.
When I entered the dealership, I was met by a big burly dude by the name of Bill. Bill was very personable and was more than willing to do anything possible to answer all of my questions about the "Victories". A young lady by the name of Steph seemed to be very excited to answer any questions about financing ect. As it turned out "Bill" is the owner and actually made the time to talk to a rubber necker off the street.
To make a long story short, I purchased my 2001 Victory 92C that day. The service was great and the bike was even greater. I have since purchased two other Victories, a 2002TC (bagger) and a 2004 King Pin Deluxe (For the wife).
This four year relationship has proved to be very satisfying. For the money, the Victory has been a very excellant motorcycle. I keep up (and pass) the Harleys, and spend less time in the service department.
I am so sold on the Victory that I have wormed my way into the position of Road Captain for Reno Cycles & Gear. Just so I can organize Victory owner rides. This allows me to interact with other Victory owners, who have turned out to be very down to earth, good people. It also allows "Us" to show off "The New American motorcycle".
Bill, Donna, Steph, Chuck, Wayne and Suz, thanks for putting up with me."
